Lake Management Plan – Update
The Lake Sinissippi Improvement District voted on a Lake Management Plan which will help guide Lake Improve projects in the future.
We had 69 eligible voters casting a ballot this morning (October 14, 2023). The question for the voters, shall we approve the Lake Management Plan (Yes/No):
- Yes – 66 votes
- No 3 – votes
Based on the votes, the proposed Lake Management Plan is approved.

Who We Are
Lake Sinissippi Improvement District is a lake protection and rehabilitation district, a special-purpose unit of local government established by Dodge County under the statutory provisions for public inland waters.
The mission of Lake Sinissippi Improvement District is to undertake a program of lake protection and rehabilitation, including conservation of natural resources and enhancement of recreational uses, by planning, funding and implementing projects designed to restore and improve water resources and public use thereof.
The LSID Board of Commissioners needs the help and support of the District’s residents and property owners. Please consider getting involved!
